Failure of Language
Essay/Map, 2019
A short essay for DeFKa publication regarding the question of language, understanding and communicating. At the time I was exploring different forms of narration and experimenting with linear vs. non-linear formats. While creating this essay both as a linear text and as a map, I have noticed one form of narration affected the other.


Reading History
Performance, 2019
As part of performance event at the ARTisBOOKshop, I chronologically stacked art history books one on top of each other, starting with cave painting and all the way up to postmodern and contemporary art. As the vertical pile grew higher it became a bit wobbly, threatening to collapse on the viewer, forcing me to stable it with my body.
Eventually it was complete with the book the Future of Art Academy, vertically standing on top of the pile

A one-shot video that captures an English sentence being written from right to left (as in my mother tongue), meaning it is written backward.


Medium (a whishing well)
Participatory Performance, 2018
A system designed to transform the physical action of writing into a digital representation - a graph, thus transforming words from one visual data into another visual data. Using pressure sensor, Arduino board and computer app (MAX7) the system ‘records’ the pencil’s touching the paper.
This mechanism allows participants to write down a wish and receive it in a visual, encrypted form.
