In this 3 days interactive installation I gave presence to Geo-DATA regarding  induced earthquakes in Groningen,
I did so by using a mechanism that counted dates and was programed to pause whenever an earthquake 'occurred', based on the information that was registered from the early 80's on. 

 

At that moment a yellow circle appeared on the map of Groningen marking the locations and the magnitude of the earthquake. The pause gave me and the visitors, who were invited to participate, enough time to cover the spot with soil I dug in advance from the outskirts of the city.

Over time the soil accumulated into 'mountains' giving the flat province a new landscape.
